New photos said to compare iPhone 5, previous versions

There is still no official release date from Apple Inc. announced for the iPhone 5, but purported pictures keep popping up on the Web. (from bizjournals Cromwell Schubarth)
The latest comes from a French blog called, ironically considering the number of these types of things appearing, no where else.

They show the longer and thinner iPhone 5 that is expected to be announced on Sept. 12, next to an iPhone 4 and an iPhone 3.

Are they real? Who knows? The photos don't reveal anything that hasn't already been cycling through the iPhone rumor mills for weeks.

But they do put it into pictures, for those who may be having a hard time imagining what a bigger thinner iPhone would look like.

The Wall Street Journal, meanwhile, reported on Friday that a major Apple supplier was having problems making enough screens for the new devices.
